Monthly Pledge (better known a adopt a sq ft)
Your pre-authorized monthly gift will provide a consitent and much-needed source of support for us to better serve woman and children from the Cochrane and surrounding communities. With the addition of 25 new monthly supporters we will have the financial foundation in place to look toward new initiatives, such as expanding our office hrs to 5 days a week - meaning more lives touched and more lives saved. Setting the foundation in place with new monlthly support is the beginning of a great future for this ministry.
Please contact the centre at 403 932-2900 and we will mail you an EFT (electronic funds transfer) pledge form.

Make a Bequest to our charity
The federal budget tabled in Parliament on May 2, 2006 eliminated capital gains tax on publicly listed securities that are donated to registered charities. If you donate securities directly to the Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre, you won’t have to pay any tax on the accrued gain in value of the securities from when you purchase them to when you donate them. In addition, you will receive a tax credit – to offset other income – that will be based on the full market value of the security at the time of your donation.
Thank you for your investment in the lives of families in our community. A tax deductible receipt will be issued and mailed to you at year end. Our Canada Revenue Agency number is 891904617RRR001
Volunteer
Pregnancy Care Centre volunteers are highly committed, compassionate people who make a big difference in the lives of our clients. If you want to know how you can get involved please contact us: 403 932-2900 or email cpccr@shaw.ca
Volunteers are the Pregnancy Care Centre’s most valuable resource. Because we are committed to upholding a high level of care for our clients, all potential volunteers undergo a screening and interview process, including criminal record and reference checks. The Centre is an environment where volunteers are continually challenged to learn and grow. Our peer counsellors and receptionists are required to take a 23 hour training seminar and undergo a minimum 6 week orientation before seeing clients one-on-one.
Other volunteer opportunities that do not involve client contact are available. Completion of the volunteer training seminar is not required for these opportunities which may include, but are not limited to:
- Mailouts (folding/stuffing)
- Help with fundraising events (Walkathon, Baby Bottle Campaign, Fundraising Banquet, etc.)
