Meet the Team!

Meet the Caring Faces Behind Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre

At the Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre, we believe no one should have to walk through pregnancy-related decisions alone. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are here to offer compassionate support, practical resources, and a listening ear every step of the way.

We invite you to get to know the people behind our ministry. Each team member brings unique experiences, skills, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals and families facing pregnancy and parenting challenges.

Explore our team bios to learn more about the hearts and stories of those who serve at the Centre. Whether you are seeking information, support, or simply someone to talk to, we are here to provide a safe, caring, and judgment-free environment where you can feel heard, valued, and empowered to make informed decisions for your future.

You are not alone. We are here for you.

Susan Campbell - Executive Director

Hello, my name is Susan Campbell and I am the Executive Director of the CPCC. I previously worked as the Director of the Pregnancy Care Centre in Rocky Mountain House for 7 years and come with a great deal of experience. I was very honoured to be involved in starting the Pregnancy Care Centre in Rocky Mountain House, building the Centre from the ground up to a thriving, well known and respected community resource.

I am very excited, honoured and privileged to have this opportunity to continue walking alongside women, men and families experiencing unexpected pregnancy and related issues in Cochrane and the Bow Valley communities. I am also very excited to become part of this amazing team of dedicated Board members, staff and volunteers of CPCC.

When I am not at the Centre, I love spending time with my two daughters and their families, including my 3 beautiful grandchildren, walking my furry companion, Maddi and spending time with friends. I love having a nice cup of tea, kicking my feet up or going for a leisurely drive and listening to inspirational music.

Kari Calderwood - Client Facilitator

Meet Kari Calderwood, CPCC’s Client Services Facilitator! Although you may recognize her as the Harpist who plays at various CPCC events. She’s been with CPCC since the summer of 2021 when CPCC first moved into our current office space.

She graduated from Ambrose University with highest honours with both a Bachelor of Arts in Behavioural Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She did her practicum at the Calgary Dream Centre, working with individuals recovering from addictions before starting to volunteer at the CPCC the following summer.

Kari has since fallen in love with the work here, helping women and families build skillsets for healthy parenting, relationships, and life in general. She has found it such an honour to walk alongside our clients as they navigate their unique journeys.

Kari is certified in various Bright Course Programs, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST), Trauma-Informed Care, Emergency First Aid, and the Brain Story Certification.

Colleen Morgan - Client Service Manager

Hi, my name is Colleen Morgan and I am a Client Advocate with CPCC! I love people and truly enjoy seeing them grow into their best lives.

I am excited to have this opportunity to work with women, men and families experiencing unexpected pregnancy and beyond.  While it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a community connection to support and encourage the family of that child.

When I am not at the centre, I love spending time with friends, riding my motorcycle and travelling for missions.  I am new to Cochrane, so I also enjoy exploring my new home and surrounding areas.

Rebecca Watts - Office Administrator

Hello, my name is Rebecca Watts, and I serve as the Office Administrator at the CPCC. I am grateful for the opportunity to support the individuals and families who connect with our organization and to help create a welcoming and caring environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

I have been actively involved in the Cochrane community for many years through volunteer work, community organizations, and various public-facing roles. These experiences have given me the privilege of meeting and supporting people from all walks of life while developing a deep appreciation for the strength and resilience found within our community.

My passion is helping people feel comfortable, respected, and supported. Whether I am assisting clients, answering questions, or helping connect individuals with resources, I strive to provide compassionate service and a positive experience. I look forward to getting to know you and being part of your journey.
