The costs of pregnancy and caring for a growing baby can add up quickly. Through Cathy’s Corner, clients of Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre can access free baby supplies and maternity basics to help with some of those everyday needs.

Our in-Centre boutique for maternity & baby essentials

Cathy’s Corner is stocked with items generously donated by people in our community. Rather than handing you a package of supplies, we want you to be able to find items that are useful for you and your family and make everyday life feel more manageable. 

Visit the boutique during your time at the Centre to browse what’s available and take home what you need.

what can i find at cathy’s corner?

Free clothing & supplies for pregnancy, babies & toddlers

  • Depending on the current inventory, Cathy’s Corner may have new and gently used:

    • Maternity clothing

    • Baby & toddler clothing in sizes newborn through 2T

    • Shoes

    • Receiving blankets

    • Baby gear (monitors, gates, strollers, etc.)

    • Breast pumps

  • In our Diaper Room, you’ll find new and unopened items, such as:

    • Diapers

    • Wipes

    • Pull-ups

    • Formula

    • Bottles

    • Soothers

Who Can Access Cathy’s Corner?

Material support is available through our programs & services

Cathy’s Corner is available at no cost to all clients connected with one of Cochrane Pregnancy Centre’s programs or services. 

It is one part of the broader support we provide, which also includes pregnancy options education, parenting classes, healthy relationship programs, partner support, and other resources. Our goal is to help individuals and families feel cared for and equipped to navigate changing circumstances with confidence.

  • Cochrane Pregnancy Care Centre offers free baby supplies through Cathy’s Corner, our in-centre boutique. Clients can access items such as free baby clothing, maternity clothing, baby gear, and other essentials. 

  • Yes. Cathy’s Corner carries free diapers and wipes. Because our inventory comes from donations, available diaper sizes and quantities can vary.

  • Cathy’s Corner is available to all clients connected with one of our programs and services, including our pregnancy options education, parenting programs, partner support, and more. 

    If you need material assistance but aren’t currently a client, contact us to learn more about the Centre, the resources available to new parents and parents-to-be, and how you can participate in a program or service.

  • No. The items and supplies in Cathy’s Corner are available at no cost to our clients. 

  • Baby clothing, maternity clothing, and items like strollers may be new or gently used. Diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, and soothers are new to protect your baby’s health and safety. Cathy’s Corner is stocked through donations, so inventory changes throughout the year.
